When Tony, Rebekah and the boys came from the island for a be-lated Thanksgiving with the Janzen clan (minus Andy who was somewhere ... in Manitoba I think...), our kids just had a blast together!! We took the kids to Wendys for 'Saiah's birthday meal, which seams to be becoming a tradition. And then we took them to a big park in Kelowna- I think it's got the biggest playground, plus a water park. Jer and I laughed ourselves silly at the kids' antics. So, the soccer season is done for me. I ended my portion of the playing year with a tournament this last weekend in Revelstoke. We played three games in two days: two wins, one loss. It was alot of fun, though we had only enough players to fill the field, with no substitutes on the side-lines. So, a couple of weeks ago I go bouncing down the stairs at a friends home... on my BUM!! (well, more like my tailbone.) I was holding Isaiah and was more afraid to drop him than to hurt myself. Isaiah had his first parade last weekend. It was the Winterfest parade in Vernon. We took our family and met up with the Janzen clan (minus brother Andrew), and sat for over an hour in minus something weather just to watch a bunch of clowns and drum-beaters and a few "Miss So-and-so's"....
